U2 2009 Tour
October 14, 2008
The rumors are flying about the U2 concert dates being released very soon and we U2 nuts are looking forward to it more than any U2 tour in recent memory! I will be posting U2 tickets on this site as soon as they become available (and when I already have mine
). A friend of mine who lives in Dublin says that Bono and the boys seemed about to throw it all in recently – they were so sick of sightseers mobbing their homes and gardens – and then all of a sudden, talk of U2 tickets is hot again.
Dublin is a rocking city, to be sure, and U2 have certainly contributed to that atmosphere. U2 have been described as Ireland’s most famous export and it is easy to believe this! There are many “U2 landmarks” around Dublin, like the eco-friendly U2 Tower designed by Norman Foster. The huge tower will have a recording studio on top of it and will be the tallest building in ireland. The Clarence Hotel is another U2 monument – at least it is now it belongs to Bono and The Edge. My personal favorite U2 haunt is Claddagh Records, where U2 recorded Achtung Baby, my second-favorite album.
But the boys are set to leave Dublin behind them once again. The U2 tickets will be printed soon and the venues will all be prepared. I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of seeing and hearing U2 live. So bring it on!
