U2 2010 Tour Announcement Expected Soon

February 17, 2009

According to British tabloid rumours, U2 will headline the fabled Isle Of Wight Festival. Those waiting for an announcement on the U2 schedule for the “No Line on the Horizon” tour can a tleast know that U2 in concert is happening somewhere. The lucky ones who buy U2 tickets will see Bono and the band along with others, such as The Prodigy and Oasis, revealed as Isle of Wight headliners in October 2008 by promoters.

Other colourful acts like the Arctic Monkeys will top the bill at Reading and Leeds along with Kings Of Leon, who VF announced as headliners in November.

In more U2 concert tickets news, it’s believed that U2 will play three concerts at Dublin’s Croke Park in summer 2009 in their massively anticipated 2009 U2 Tour, in support of No Line on the Horizon.

The 82,000-capacity stadium will be packed to the rafters for the late July (24, 25 and 26) gigs, where U2 fans will finally get to see their heroes play in Eire on the big stage. A neighbouring Dublin hotel, the Jurys, is said to have boosted their prices threefold for those three nights.
Speculation over U2 tour schedules and U2 tickets mounts ahead of what many believe will be a 2009 announcement about a 2010 worldwide tour.

The official U2 2010 tour announcement is expected mid-March 2009 and U2 tickets are expected to sell out instantly.
